animera la classe de maître Samedi 18 Novembre  et proposera le Concerto de Nicolaï RIMSKY KORSAKOV avec l'Orchestre d'Harmonie du Conservatoire de la Baie de Somme 

Cristina is a clarinet professor at the Rafael Orozco Superior Conservatory of Music in Córdoba, Spain. Additionally, Cristina has led clarinet masterclasses in several cities, including the Professional Music Conservatory of Zaragoza, Spain. Her teaching has been enhanced with invitations from the National Children and Youth Orchestra of Mexico, the Children's Symphony Orchestra of Costa Rica, the Young Orchestra of Córdoba, and the Young Orchestra of Jerez. Chamber music is one of her great passions, performing at the Proms, Barbican Center, Wigmore Hall, and Royal Festival Hall in London, National Auditorium of Music in Madrid, Social Center for the Arts in Caracas, and at the Paxos Music Festival in Greece. As a chamber music performer, she has been awarded first prize at the Ivan Sutton Competition with Risa Quintet in London and first prize at the Norman Cooper Annual Chamber Music Competition in Aberdeen with the National Youth Orchestra of Spain (JONDE) Ensemble. Her dedication to chamber music continues by her participation as a member of the Ensemble Aire a Tres.

As a soloist, Cristina has performed Mozart's Clarinet Concerto with the Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra of Singapore, The Huntingdon Philharmonic in Cambridge, and City of Ceuta Orchestra. Cristina has been first clarinet of the National Youth Orchestra of Spain (JONDE), first clarinet of the Santiago Symphony Orchestra (Chile), and has performed with orchestras such as the Simón Bolívar (Venezuela) with Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos, the Carlos Chávez Orchestra (Mexico), Sun Festival Orchestra (Singapore) with Alondra de la Parra, the Academy Orchestra with Sir Colin Davis, National Musicians Symphony Orchestra, Guildhall Symphony Orchestra (London), Europa Orchestra (London), with the European Youth Orchestra (EUYO), and with the Álvarez Beigbeder Orchestra (Jerez de la Frontera, Spain).

Her musical training began in southern Spain, in her hometown of Jerez de la Frontera, and continued under the guidance of Juan Carlos Armentia Velar in Cádiz, Spain. She earned the Superior Title of Clarinet Professor at the Rafael Orozco Superior Conservatory of Music in Córdoba, Spain. During her seven year stay in London, England, Cristina furthered her studies at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where she earned a Bachelor’s in Music with Honours, a Postgraduate Diploma and Master’s in Orchestral Interpretation. Cristina was the recipient of the Jack Brymer scholarship under the supervision of professors Julian Farrell, Dame Thea King, Joy Farrall, Laurent Ben Slimane, and Jennifer McClarens. Cristina also holds a Doctorate of Musical Arts (Education) Magna Cum Laude, from the Autonomous University of Madrid. Cristina continues to further her musical development under the mentorship of clarinetists Reiner Wehle, Josep Fuster, and Yehuda Gilad.

ORCHESTRE D'HARMONIE DU CONSERVATOIRE DE LA BAIE DE SOMME D'ABBEVILLE

L'Orchestre d'Harmonie d'Abbeville (OHA) a fêté ses 150 ans d’existence à Abbeville en décembre 2022 au théâtre municipal en compagnie d’autres groupes invités comme le big band de la côte Picarde, le Dixieland Combo, le Ms BigBand, l'Harmonie de Cayeux sur mer.

L'OHA regroupe une quarantaine de musiciens amateurs de différents âges (de 13 ans à 82 ans). Il comprend des élèves du conservatoire de la Baie de Somme, qui, grâce à une convention OHA – conservatoire, peuvent valider un atelier de pratique collective en 2ème et 3ème cycle. L'orchestre est principalement représenté par des instruments à vent et des percussions, mais comporte aussi, selon les répertoires, une basse électrique, une contrebasse à cordes, un piano, des chanteurs ...

Le répertoire est constitué d’œuvres originales pour orchestre à vents, de pièces classiques, de musiques de films, de medleys rock, funk ….

L’orchestre, classé dans le niveau « Supérieur » est dirigé par Brigitte Bailleul depuis septembre 1998 et par Maxime Tuncq depuis septembre 2010.

La volonté des deux directeurs est d’emmener l’orchestre vers la découverte de nouveaux projets musicaux.

C’est pourquoi, l’OHA a collaboré avec de nombreux groupes et artistes de styles différents tels que Liz Mc Comb, Ronald Baker, LPT3 trio, avec en invité le grand clarinettiste Louis Sclavis, le tubiste international Thomas Leleu, mais aussi avec des groupes ou orchestres locaux comme le choeur Rock'n'Funk d’Amiens , le groupe House of blues, l’Orchestre à l'école du collège Alfred Manessier de Flixecourt, le groupe La Bonne Heure et, pour plusieurs spectacles le groupe Zic Zazou dont le dernier était leur concert d’adieu Ze End à la Maison de la culture d'Amiens.

En mai 2023, c’est un spectacle Cabaret que nous avons présenté accompagnés de 3 chanteurs et 8 danseuses. Ce spectacle, créé par nos 2 directeurs et notre présidente, Mélanie Doré, a remporté un vif succès au cours des deux représentations dans le théâtre qui affichait complet.

La saison 2023-2024 s’annonce une fois de plus très variée en terme de projets : rencontre au conservatoire d’un clarinettiste soliste en novembre, d’un quintette de cuivres en avril et collaboration avec deux groupes de jazz amiénois en décembre et avec une autre harmonie en mai, nous n’en dirons pas plus ...
